04/16 I want to post,  but I'm just unbelievably snowed under with a number of projects,  selling one rental property (with a mile long repair list),  trying to buy another,  looking at a potential lake house purchase,  expanding a deck,  installing cabinets and granite in the kitchen,  mulching,  medical tests,  tax return prep, tree removal,  trading.  There is just not enough time in the day to keep up with life,  while still keeping an eye on what the idiots in Washington DC are cooking up for our future.  I'll be back ... when things slow and life gets back to a more normal pace. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

GOP wants to throw more money away

I am up to my eyeballs in work and projects,  and have no time to be posting.  But,  I ran across this headline this morning and it just plain pisses me off:

Republicans eye $680 million for Israel's "Iron Dome" shield

Would someone please explain to me why our Republican politicians insist on pissing away our tax dollars on Israel? We are $15 Trillion in debt. Our citizens can not find jobs. Our homes are worth less than our mortgages outstanding. Our children are carrying record amounts of education debt. We are raped at the gas pump and in our doctor's offices. Yet, our elected GOP politicians think we need to GIVE Israel $680 million? Just fucking give it away?

We have myriad problems right now in America. And one of biggest is elected politicians who think we have money to just GIVE away.

Hello GOP politicians,  wake the hell up!  STOP with the handouts. It's past time for Israel to stand on its own two feet. Way past time.  If they need this technology ... then let them buy it.  While our citizens suffer financially,  we simply can not afford to be giving anything away.

PERIOD.
